Al-Burhan Academy Islamabad was established in 2013 by Mufti Syed Adnan Kakakhel. It offers weekend theology classes for male and female, professionals and university students. It also offers "Dars Nizami" and "Islamic Scholars specializing in Fiqh" and also runs welfare services (Al-Burhan Trust International). Al-Burhan is currently educating thousands of students online and offline. The on-site and online system, from registration and admission to administration, is run by volunteers. Al-Burhan has recently launched "e-Burhan" online education system, in which people from 80 countries are being taught Quran, Hadith, Seerah and Fiqh.
