A message circulating by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to stop the trickery activation of mobile devices with different IMEI.
"Mis-declaration by entering different IMEI not belonging to same device is a fraudulent activity & offence under the law. For Registration of Mobile Phones, ensure that the IMEI(s) you are registering should belong to same device. PTA will block all such IMEI that are registered fraudulently" - PTA
