Wafaq ul Madaris Arabia Pakistan


Islamabad (June 3, 2020) Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari presided over the important meeting of the Wafaq ul Madaris Arabia Pakistan, expressing satisfaction at the commencement of admissions in madrassas across the country on the direction of Wafaq ul Madaris.

Instruct to conduct educational stages keeping in view the precautionary measures. Proposed start admissions for "Tahfeez" in the second week of June and for "Kutub" in early July. The final decision will be taken by the examination committee and the working committee. The suggestions made by the doctors for the new academic year were considered satisfactory.

According to details, an important meeting of the Wafaq ul Madaris Arabia Pakistan (Federation of Madrassas of Pakistan) was held under the General Secretary of Wafaq ul Madaris Arabia Pakistan Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari at the Wifaq House Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by members of the Working Committee of the Wafaq ul Madaris, Maulana Dr. Adil Khan, Jamia Farooqia, Karachi, Nazim of Punjab, Maulana Qazi Abdul Rashid, Nazim of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Maulana Hussain Ahmed, Nazim of Kashmir, Maulana Saeed Yusuf, Maulana Zahid Al-Rashidi, Maulana Zahoor Ahmad Alvi, Maulana Nazir Ahmad Farooqi, Maulana Mufti Owais Aziz and Maulana Abdul Qaddos Mohammadi.

A statement issued at the end of the meeting said that the meeting expressed satisfaction over the commencement of admissions in religious madrassas across the country as per the guidelines of the Wafaq ul Madaris and it sends a message to the administrators, teachers and students of all religious schools to organize and carry out all the educational planes while strictly adhering to the precautionary measures.

This meeting, which was drawn up in consultation with eminent scholars and doctors in connection with the SOPs, considers it in principle and appropriate and considers it necessary to abide by it.

The statement of the meeting further said that the meeting suggested that the process of Hifz (memorizing the Holy Quran) should be started successively in Shawwal, i.e. in the second week of June and in  Dhul-Qa'dah, at the end of June or the beginning of July, "Kutub" should be started.

During the meeting, various proposals regarding the annual examinations were considered, the final decision will be announced by the Working Committee and Examination Committee of the Federation of Madrassas in the next few days.

During the meeting, serious concern was expressed over the desecration of the mausoleum of Syedna Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) and his wife and the government were asked to raise its voice at the official level. The leaders of the Wafaq ul Madaris have declared Friday, June 5, as Umar bin Abdul Aziz Day and said that Imams and preachers of mosques across the country will shed light on the role and services of Umar bin Abdul Aziz and Incidents of desecration will be strongly condemned.

During the meeting, Shaykh-ul-Hadith Maulana Mufti Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri of Darul Uloom Deoband, Islamic thinker Allama Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Maulana Obaid-ur-Rehman Zia, Maulana Dr. Ahmad Khan, Maulana Saeed-ur-Rehman Tanveer and other deceased were offered special prayers for the hereafter.
