He belonged to Ahl al-Hadith school of thought, a native of Rasool Nagar village. He was born in 1959 in Kot Kapura town of Ferozepur district of India. Father's name was Maulana Noorullah. He was the Editor of Dar-ul-Qara, Jamia Azizia, Sahiwal, and was the president of "Kuliyat-ul-Quran Al-Karim", Jamia Lahore Islamia.
